Bright Stars 0-0 UPDF Gadaffi 0-0 Police

Bright Stars failed to benefit from UPDF FC’s poor form after both sides settled for a goalless draw in a Uganda Premier League game played at Kavumba Recreation Ground.

It’s a hard result to take in for Bright Stars who wanted nothing but maximum points in their bid to improve their survival chances.

Star striker Nelson Senkatuka was left frustrated after failing to help his side break UPDF resistance.

This is one of the games Bright Stars fancied to win, against a UPDF side who are now winless in last 13 games.

Bright Stars who missed midfielder Marvin Youngman (on duty with Cranes), is now winless in their last two games.

As it stands Bright Stars remain two points adrift of safety while UPDF are just four points above the red zone.

The relegation battle intensifies with 8 games to the end of the season, its now rush hour and survival for the fittest for over eight teams whose fate in the league is under limbo.

Bright Stars are 14th in the relegation zone with 20 points after 22 matches while UPDF are 11th with 24 points in 22 matches.
