Driver Dies After Losing Control in Agago District

Driver dies in a fatal accident on Friday, 8th April 2022 at around 10:00 pm when he loses control of a motor vehicle, Prado, with five occupants on board in Koyo Lalu village, in Koyo parish, Kuywe sub-county Agago district

ASP David Ongom Mudong, the Aswa River Region Police spokesperson said the deceased, Moses Okello, 38, a resident of Kitum district was the one driving the car with registration number UAP 747S injuring the five occupants on board.

The five occupants onboard included; Gloria Apiyo, 28, a resident of Lapono sub-county, Roney Otika, 45, a resident of Kitum district, Noel Latino, 9, a resident of Kitum and Alex Akera, 48.

The deceased’s body was taken to Kalongo hospital for postmortem

Mudong added that it’s alleged the driver lost control and turned many times along the Kitum-Kalongo Road All the victims sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Kalongo hospital.

He said that the vehicle is still at the scene pending break down to be pulled to the police station with a case of fatal accident registered under TAR 08/202
