Emyooga beneficiaries in Pader district have dismissed the promise that the resident district commissioner had made during a talk show on one of the radio stations that the Emyooga fund disbursement project will eventually kick start after the lockdown is uplifted by training of the beneficiaries.
One of the beneficiaries under anonymity says that there is nothing good to talk about concerning the RDC’s promise about the Emyooga money. He adds that this is all a seek and hide game that is meant to swindle the money.

According to him, RDC previously talked about training to take place many times but all in vain. He adds that the RDC kept talking about certificate availability, and yet they don’t invite people to get the certificate or money as if it’s meant for them.
PK Alanyo, a Boda rider says that wait for the lockdown is all empty tins that make the loudest noise. He added that there are task force meetings going on with even more than 2 people, and why the district can’t organize training for 15people per group while observing the SOPs and disbursing the money.
Recently, Dusman Okee, Pader district resident commissioner said they should be given a few remaining days to the elapse of the lockdown days and the communication that will be given by the president to kick start the training of the beneficiaries. He added that the certificates and the money are in the bank but currently the major setback is the lockdown.
