Former Pader district chairperson contestant storms one of the media houses in Pader district on 26th April 2022 at around 4:00 pm over running news of his arrest on allegations of extorting money from the Acholi war debt claimants' beneficiaries on grounds of fresh registration.
Mr. Julius Oleke, former Pader district chairperson aspirant was annoyed over the news that ran on Luo FM last week over his arrest, he further, stormed the media house saying that the media should have gotten his side of the story before publishing it.
He added that there is freedom of the press in the country, and this calls for his say to be captured in the story as well though in detention.

However, ASP David Ongom Mudong, the Aswa River regional police spokesperson said the arrested suspects have no right to be interrogated by the media once in police custody, but the criminal investigation department in Police can interrogate.
He added that the accused can only be able to be interviewed from the time he or she is brought before the court.
Last week, Mr. Julius Oleke, a former Pader LC V aspirant who stormed the media, Reverend Caeser Olobo, Mathew Oboke, Phillip Okeny, BD Odwar, and Fredrick Opiyo were arrested and released on police bond after spending two days in Pader central police station cells on allegations of extorting money from locals on Tuesday, 19th April 2022.
