Police in Patongo town council in Agago district are holding a 23-year-old boy reported to have stabbed his brother on Sunday, 17th April 2022 on the chest using a knife following a scuffle over who between them should fetch the white ants from the anthill.

Tonny Akena, 23, a resident of Nota village, Kal parish, Patongo sub-county in Agago district has been arrested for stabbing his brother, Charles Okwera, 15 during a fight that broke out while fetching white ants in the morning on Easter Day.

Okwera and his father, Mathew Oyoo reported having ganged up against Akena despite being the first to clear anthill for white ants. This made Akena rush home and picked a knife that he used to stab his brother in the chest two times and on the back one time.
