The leader for ‘Ribe Pi Paco’ (RPP), Mr Samuel Odonga-Otto, the Aruu county former MP turned-environmental activist, has accused sections of police fraternity over meddling into corruption and accepting bribes from charcoal dealers.
Odonga-Otto made the revelation on 28th of May 2023 during a talk show with this radio saying several impounded trucks went missing without clear information given by the police.
He further adds that locals should report all forms of commercial charcoal trade to the authorities such as the RDC, LC V, among others to hold them accountable if nothing is done.
