Ogom sub-county chairperson’s motorcycle has been confiscated on Tuesday, 15th after a businessman stormed his home over debt amounting to over 100,000 shillings.
Denish Okot stormed Bosco Amone’s home in Ogom Telela Central village, Ogom Sub County in the morning and confiscated the government motorcycle Yamaha-made with registration number LG 0046/098 over failure to clear his debt.
Amone, the Ogom sub-county chairperson III, reportedly borrowed items from Okot’s shop that amounted to Ush. 119,000 and he was expected to pay back early but failed.
Joel Aboda, Ogom sub-county chairperson for the business community admitted getting the report about the debt. He added that Amone owes the business community a lot of money, and other business people are planning to confiscate his items for compensation.

However, when contacted for comments, Amone rejected the claims of being a debtor but accepted later following a series of interviews.
He added that he realized the missing of his motorcycle when he came back from showering, and by the press time, he claimed he don’t know the whereabouts of the motorcycle.
