Northern Uganda Regional coordinator of Emyooga has threatened to arrest the Emyooga focal people in Pader district if they ought to temper with the presidential initiative since they have delayed disbursing the fund over unknown circumstances.
Kidega Nock Nabinson, Lamwo district resident commissioner who also doubles as the northern Uganda regional coordinator of Emyooga has expressed his anger over the delay of the disbursement of the Emyooga fund in the district by saying that he is disappointed in the focal persons of Pader district. He added that the majority of the districts have disbursed the fund including Agago district, but Pader is yet to do so.
Nock further warned and threatened to arrest the commercial officer, community development officer and the district resident commissioner of Pader over the unclear issues of delay in the disbursement of the Emyooga fund.

Meanwhile, Pader district commercial officer, Alfred Obaloker claims that there was a delay in the certificate delivery from the Microfinance that delayed the disbursement of the fund. He adds that he met with the RDC over the issue of training, but due to the Corona directive, they couldn’t carry out the training.

The office of the RDC and DISO were present in the meeting and decided to arrange for training of the members amidst the covid-19 situation as a result of the threats of arrest and pressure from the regional coordinator of Emyooga.
