Mourners from Pader district have been warned to be security conscious during a planning meeting for the sendoff of Late Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah from the district council hall held on Tuesday, 2nd March.
The meeting which was chaired by the district chairperson, Fearless Obwoya Oyat is to help plan for the burial arrangements as stated.
Justine Ocen, Pader district vice chairperson made a remark that call for a security alert since it has been noted in the past late Lieutenant General Paul Lokech's burial.
According to Ocen, all the sticker sellers from commute long distances should not be allowed to enter the burial place since they are of great threat. He further proposed that those stickers should be made by the residents within a particular district.
One of the security officials who spoke during the planning stated locals must put security as a matter of concern since Pader has been a target for some suspected terror group claiming to revenge attacks made on them.
He added that security will be at its maximum during the sendoff of late Oulanyah at Ayom Lony village in Lalogi sub-county, Omoro district.
