Pader district older person council chairperson has officially handed over instruments of power to the newly elected older council chairperson from the district council hall.
Reverend Caesar Okot, outgone chairperson for Pader district older persons was handed over power of instruments on 14th July 2021 from the district council hall.
Ongaya Benard, outgone chairperson of the district older person council urges the new members of the council to have team spirit whenever executing their duties assigned to do. He further adds that transparency is the only key to success and must be adhered to by the lower leaders as well.
Meanwhile, Amito Lucy, Pader district welfare and gender officer, thanked the outgone regime of the older council for deliberately working tirelessly for older people in the district. She adds that the inclusion of female representation in the older person council is of great impact to the entire people of the district as it will ignite gender equality in the district.
