Pader District Registers 18 Positive Covid-19 Cases Bringing a Total of Accumulative Positive to 672

Pader district has registered a new 18 covid-19 positive cases totalling 672 as a result of failure to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) given by the health ministry since the district began testing of the suspected cases among the community members.

A total of 8639 samples have been tested since the testing began in the district.

158 patients are being monitored in the home-based care systems and a total of 509 recoveries within the district.

Recently, a total of covid-19 test results were released and 1 positive test reported from Ogonyo HC II, Awere HC II 51 test have been done with positive results of 16, Angagura with 1 positive case totalling to 18 positive cases by 6th of August 2021.

Pader district secretary of health, Justine Ocen urges people to follow the Standard Operating Procedures put in place. He added that people must ensure safety always whenever in public so as to fight the pandemic.
