Pader district outgoing youth council has today handed over their instruments of work to the new regime since the election was done last year.
David Okech, Pader district probation officer says that youth should try their best and develop economically, politically and religiously because they are the avenues with which social life change can be adopted. He added that the youth should also do much to mobilize other lower youth to live a healthy life.
Meanwhile, Festo Okidi, Pader district community development officer says that all the youth must work very hard instead of expecting a lot from the government. He added that the government expects a lot from the youth.
Festo further highlighted the general youth council on the three-youth acts that guides their activities which are; unifying the council, engaging into meaningful activities and helping the youth to overcome harmful activities.
Quinto Ojok, the new district youth chairperson Pader says that their core goal for the regime is education and cadre which helps in the creation of jobs and career opportunities. He further blamed the education strategy that only focuses on making job seekers than creators.
The government's much expectations from the youths should match their support to the same,as we are past the time of Alice lakwena when and where you expect us to confront our heavily armoured rivals with stones and sprinkled water, hoping for victory
