The majority of schools in Pader district have reported steady progress as they enter into the fourth day of examination for senior four students that began last Friday by briefing and on Monday's first paper.
Mr. Charles Oboke, the deputy headteacher for Archbishop Flynn Secondary school said that they were very prepared for the examination despite failures by some students to pay full fees.
He added all students registered for the examination are doing it since they are following the directive given by the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB).

Mr. Geoffrey Okello Nyeko, the Lagwai Seed Secondary School director of studies said that there were minimal challenges following their early preparation for the exams.
He added that they expect a relatively good performance this year despite the shortcomings including covid-19, and teacher demonstrations, among others.

However, students from Lagwai Seed Secondary School upon interviews said that the examinations began in somewhat way that looks neither bad nor good.

There are a total of 696 students sitting for UCE excluding Achol-pii army secondary school whose tally was not availed by the press time as the head teacher’s phone was not picked up upon making calls.
