Recently, Pader district faced similar challenges including groups in the north since their certificates were delayed with the microfinance support Centre leading to different reactions from the locals who are to benefit from it.
Pader district emyooga focal persons recently announced that certification was the major challenge that resulted in the delay of the disbursement of the fund.
However, Nabinson Kidega Nock, regional coordinator for northern on emyooga said that they had a meeting with the chairperson of emyooga to resolve other issues affecting the project. He adds that issues of certificates were immediately abolished after it was realized that it’s delaying the project.
Nabinson added that the resident district commissioners (RDCs) and the emyooga concern people have been given the green light to authorize disbursement through issuing stamped letters to the respective groups who don’t have certificates. He adds that the president didn't talk about the savings first in order to have funds disbursed to the respective groups.
