Two people have been rushed to St Marry’s hospital Lacor in Gulu city after a collision of a Toyota vehicle and a motorcycle on 10th March along Gulu-Moroto road.
It's reported that the accident occurred on 10/03/2022 at about 1642hrs at Adak along Gulu-Moroto road in Omoro District involving Toyota Corolla with registration number UAQ 789N driven by Arach Betty and a Bajaj motorcycle with registration number UEA 943W ridden by Okello Boniface.
Arach is a resident of Ariaga Laliya and Okello, a resident of Opit town council.
Okello sustained a serious injury and was later rushed to St. Mary's Hospital Lacor for treatment.
ASP. David Ongom Mudong, Aswa River region police spokesperson confirmed the accident and said that the scene was visited by police from Koro, and both vehicle and the motorcycle are currently parked at Koro Police Station pending the Inspector of Vehicle's inspection and to establish the likely cause of the accident.
Mudong added that the police the accident has been recorded as a Serious Accident under reference number Omoro TAR:12/2022.
