Six people have been arrested on the 6th of November 2022 from Tongwiri village, Latigi parish, Porogali sub-county in Pader district on allegations of boycotting government efforts in immunizing pupils in schools against diseases such as cervix cancer, polio, measles, and others.

The six people in custody at Pader CPS have been identified as; Stella Adong, Gloria Ajok, Richard Opotokilim, Patrick Okot, Gloria Achola, and Monica Amwuny.

Mr. David Odongkara, the LC 3 of Parogali sub-county said that these people denied their children from being immunized alleging that their religious belief did not spell in the bible that children should be immunized against diseases.
